A Year in Luj​án

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Ziarkowski. In August of 2015, I decided to apply to be a Rotary Youth Exchange(RYE) Student. Rotary is an international service organization dedicated to improving the world via service above self. After a long application process, I was thrilled to receive news that I had been accepted as a RYE student and would have the incredible opportunity to serve as an ambassador for the US in Luján, Argentina. I cannot wait to start my adventure and embark on what I am sure will be one of the best years of my life!

About Me

I am currently 18 years old and was born and raised in Northern California. While I grew up in the country and love exploring the outdoors, I am a city girl at heart, making me delighted to explore all aspects of the unique Argentine environment, from the gushing waters of the Iguazu Falls, to the beautiful streets of Buenos Aires. Upon completing my exchange, I hope to attend film school and work my way into the industry so that I may be able to bring my experiences and ideas to the screen.
